SHEERLINE ALUMINIUM S1 ROOF LANTERNS
Sheerline’s award-winning aluminium S1 roof lantern is already one of the most secure roof lanterns in the UK and now comes with a Secured by Design (SBD) upgrade option. This optional security upgrade adds an extra layer of defence ensuring that S1 aluminium roof lanterns are secure enough to withstand opportunist criminals, providing extra peace of mind to homeowners. The optional upgrade adds additional security clamping plates, locking the SBD lantern’s laminated glass panels in place, preventing them from being lifted and removed by would-be intruders* even if rafter top caps have been removed. These stainless steel components are held firmly in place by stainless steel security screws for added strength. This optional security upgrade is invisible on finished roofs and doesn’t compromise the stylish contemporary design or thermal performance that Sheerline is known for.
SUPER SLIM ALUMINIUM CASEMENT WINDOWS
The ALUNA ACW81 Window’s super slim sash offers minimal sightlines for optimal views. Secure to PAS24, the ALUNA Window exceeds Part L compliance with WER rating A and new build requirement of 1.4 W/(m2k) is achieved when combined with highly energy efficient glass.
The ALUNA window can be used as a side light with openers that seamlessly couples with our ALUNA bifold door system and even shares some of the same components! It can even be glazed from the inside and the outside for simple, pain-free installation.
ALUNA - ONE SYSTEM TO DO IT ALL
As an enhancement on the known and loved BF73 bifold system, the super slim profile sections of the ALUNA bifold system minimise the visible framework and maximise the glass area, with sightlines of just 107 mm from frame to sash.
Offering one of the largest sash sizes available, up to 1200mm wide and 3000mm high per pane, the ALUNA bifold system also has part L compliant U-values as low as 1.4 W/m2K, DER Rating B, when combined with highly energy efficient glass, and is secure to PAS24.
